One For The Weasels..

New Caesar Incoming: Barack Obama in Berlin, Republic of Germany.

Berlin: Sure speech and pictures of Barack Obama at the Siegessäule in the German capital will be a called a big moment in history. Sure there will be one million Berliners celebrating their new leader of the Western World. Sure that moment will give him a big advantage in the race to the White House.
But be sure of that also: in the end it will mean „We face more costs, more loss and more agony“. Not only for America.

Right now Germany has 3.500 soldiers in an Afghanistan War that is said to be lead in self defense for more than 6 1/2 years now, not to mention the so-called „war on terror“.
Barack Obama now wants 9000 German soldiers in Afghanistan, the „Frankfurter Rundschau“ reported on July 16.
A few months ago German parties – except for the Left – agreed to increase the troop level to 4.500. This had not even been decided by the German Parliament Bundestag when this New War Order came from Washington by an administration that has not even been elected.

Barack Obamas words at the Ronald Reagan building in Washington (reported also on July 16, by the way) were an imperial speech from start to finish.
He spoke about „engaging“ China and the world, about upcoming huge environmental disasters and mistakes after 9/11, but more in a way like „we could have used that situation much better“. He spoke about Iran as a country that „supports terror“, not as country that is exposed to black warfare by US-led military units, as Seymour Hersh in „Preparing the Battlefield“ reported.

He phrased, one more time, his intent to start a war against the atomic power Pakistan with one primary target in particular: overthrow Pervez Musharraf.

„We must make it clear that if Pakistan cannot or will not act, we will take out high-level terrorist targets like bin Laden if we have them in our sights.Make no mistake: we can‘t succeed in Afghanistan or secure our homeland unless we change our Pakistan policy. We must expect more of the Pakistani government, but we must offer more than a blank check to a General who has lost the confidence of his people. It‘s time to strengthen stability by standing up for the aspirations of the Pakistani people.“

That is Obamas goal in a region that has been theatre of operations to his old shadowy stay-behind adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski for decades, though Brzezinski and Lawrence Wilkerson surprisingly „expressed opposition to a heavy additional militarization of our efforts in Afghanistan“ two days ago.
„OpEdnews“ also tells us, that Barack Obamas phrases are „all very reminiscent of — in parts identical to — Johnson’s and Nixon’s statements about Nam, Nixon’s about Cambodia (a claimed sanctuary for planning and refitting), Bush II’s about Iraq.“

All in all, there will be a special operation today in Berlin. An ally in the heart of Europa, who opposed the war in Iraq, must be won for another try.
That will fail, even when people will cheer out for Obama as he will thank the Germans for doing what they did in 2003 – not going to war.

In the next years the new US administration – or let´s say: the government of an elected Caesar – will learn about a new pride. They will learn about a New Republic that is proud of itself and what it represents. The new US President will learn that all free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin, and, therefore, as a free man, I, Me, take pride in the words

„Ich bin ein Berliner“.
