And it´s definitely not about all the U.S. Artists, who seemed to be the only conscience, the only lighthouses, the only Republican in your republic and the only Democrats in your democracy during all these years since September, the 11th..Dear U.S. Citizens: are you mad? Are you sick? Or simply not awaken yet? You need a parliament, God damn it. And that means at least, a parliament that acts like if it was one.
Why don´t you just throw them (almost) all out, and elect an new one? It could be simple, it could be fine, but these days the U.S. is definetely not the home of the Brave, and the Free just don´t do their job.
How could that happen? Nancy Pelosi, oh my God..
Please, don´t think, the world wouldn´t watch this desaster. You know the words:
„I think Congress has been extremely timid in its exercise of its constitutional responsibilities over matters of war and peace.“
Okay, who said so? The Baker group‘s co-chairman and former Representative Lee H. Hamilton, a Democrat from Indiana, who urged members of the Senate Armed Service Committee to begin to exercise „very vigorous oversight of the war effort“ in December, 7th.(1)
And what happened? Yeah, right – nothing. Just nothing. Well, never mind, the U.S. Congress is still the second-most stupid parliament in the world, and if you wanna meet the most stupid, hey, come right over here, to Germany.
Today Tokyo stocks tumbling down at 3 percent, the yen is near the 116 dollar line.
„What lies underneath sell-offs in global shares and recent weakness in the dollar/yen is concerns about the U.S. economy,“ a senior trader at an European investment bank said today(2).
Dear Americans: you owe the worldwide finance institutions more than 10 Trillion dollars already. Don´t you think that it is time to stop spending Billions and Billions and Billions of dollars (that you obtained) for a war, that makes no sense at all?
When George Bush entered the White House, he found a counterbalanced budget, left by the Clinton Administration. When he leaves the White House, it won´t be that white that is was before, that´s for sure. The Neocons are ruining the U.S.A., and nobody inside the U.S.A. seems to really care about this.
The „Democrats“ (turned out to be a harsh word) retreated, Nevada Democrat Shelley Berkley calls a possible (nuclear) US attack on Iran without permission by the legislative the „most important negotiating tool that the U.S. has,“ and the Congress declared itself to be not a Constitutional Power anymore. Economy is going down, only the Haves (and the Havemores) are still beeing called „base“ of something, that cannot be ignored:
the times of war.
End it or you will end your Republic. This is serious. This is important. You are not alone, certainly not.
But if you are still frightened of the world, you won´t stop frightening the world. It´s time for the soldiers to go home. And it is time for You, the American People, to take back your Republic.
It will be still the largest power on Earth, so don´t worry. But if you want the „Freedom from Fear“, you should stop trusting the ones who are in charge of that power.
Trust yourself. Trust your neighbours. Trust your friends. You still have`em.
