Washington: You know, there is a little tale. It tells from little people, in the Theatre of Life.
Today, there stood two old men in Washington and told us about the Theatre of War. U.S. President George Bush and Tony Blair, the outgoing Prime Minister of the former British Empire, were talking about their war in Afghanistan and Iraq, climate change and further things to come in Africa.
Blair said, the U.K. would remain a „steadfast ally in the fight against terrorism“ (1), the former „global war on terror“.Before they appeared on stage, the two men were briefed via videoconference by their military commanders and diplomats in Iraq.
Apart from that it should be the other way round – the two „leaders“ had nothing to say.
Nothing to a world they already left as active players before becoming actors in this theatrical, by whom it maybe was written anyway.
The tale of the Steadfast Tin Soldier appears to be a sad one (2). It´s a tale about love, and duty, and of life as an eternal struggle for the seeming unreachable truth that is all around us.
Definitely unreachable for this two Lords of War, who failed and left thousands behind.
Their future is dark, for they cannot see it. If they could, they wouldn´t play this game.
„But the current grew stronger and stronger; the tin soldier could already see daylight before him at the end of the tunnel; but he also heard a roaring sound, fit to strike terror to the bravest heart.“(3)
You know, there are rumours. And the rumours grow stronger and stronger; and the Tin Soldiers can already see daylight before them at the end of the tunnel.
Somebody invented the term „It´s all entertainment“.
He didn´t realize that he disproved that by inventing it, for it´s all about ART.
The artists of the world remain that sign on the wall, the mouth of the silent, the tellers of a new legend to rise. And there are people listening. An army that doesn´t have to kill for victory.
There is more to learn, more to discover and much more than we all know.
For do you know what you are doing?
This world is full of secrets and there are great forces of good in it.
You should not underestimate that.
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE GOOD.
