US,Bush, impeachment: Frank Boyle is in the (Wisconsin) House

Wisconsin, USA: „The message that we need to send to the rest of the world who is watching us very closely is that we are a nation of laws, a nation of rules and we will adhere to those rules as a country“, Representative Frank Boyle said Wednesday afternoon in an telephone interview.State Rep. Frank Boyle has introduced a resolution in the Wisconsin Assembly calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush.
„This guy has violated every treaty before him, including the Constitution of the United States,“ Boyle said.
In the resolution, Boyle cites a clause in Jefferson`s Manual that allows federal impeachment proceedings to be initiated by joint resolution of a state legislature. Authored by Thomas Jefferson, the volume is a manual of parliamentary practice published in 1812.

„He was deeply concerned about King George and monarchs who rained without control, so he created this other avenue for state legislatures to petition the federal government to initiate action,“ Boyle said. „Thomas Jefferson gave states the authority to do this, so we`d be remiss to pass up on that opportunity.“

The impeachment chorus is on the rise. „I get one call after another saying, `Impeach the president,`“ said Rep. John P. Murtha, Pennsylvania Democrat, yesterday(3).
But still he and other main Democrats in Washington flinch before this challenge, while the President of the United States continue to ruining them.
Deficit explodes, more and more untrained and unequipped troops are sent to battle, and Democrats like Rep. Jerrold Nadler, New York, take that as a reason to avoide certain steps against the Bush government.
„The timing is all wrong“, Nadler said. „If this were the first two years of his administration I would advocate impeachment. A lot of people at home say impeachment, and I‘m sure he committed a lot of impeachable offenses, but think about it practically“.
Sentences to remember.

But Rep. Diane Watson, California Democrat, also seems to consider the situation of Congressional Representatives as persons being elected for doing something.
„They say, ‚Democrats: Do something. Get Cheney, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales.‘ They are saying impeachment. I am hearing that more and more and more,“ said Ms. Watson.
Mr.Watson was one of the Brave who voted against the war budget in the House. She said, the new democratic leadership might not want to see Bush get impeached.
Mrs.Pelosi has said so last year.
„Democrats are not about impeachment,“ Mrs. Pelosi said in an interview on NBC‘s „Meet the Press“ in May. „Democrats are about bringing the country together.“

Bringing together the country, that would mean stopping an Administration leading an illegal, senseless and bloody war, at least that is why Democrats like Frank Boyle are trying to bring together the United States of America and the rest of the world again.

In 2005 a poll found that 32 percent of Americans thought that the president should be impeached. It surely would be interesting, if public opinion might has changed a little about this, considering the onward breach of laws and the constitution by the present resident of the White House.

Anyway – greetings to Mr.Frank Boyle from Berlin.
You, therefore, as a free man, can take pride in the words:
„I am an American“.
